Senior Sales Manager - Sydney
Blis is looking for a very experienced candidate to take on the role as a Senior Sales Manager to join our growing team. Based in Sydney and reporting to the Regional Director - ANZ, the ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience within the market, a strong contact list and hold existing relationships with the Independent Media Agencies sector.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the advertising market and the role of digital and OMNI channel solutions.
Most importantly, the candidate will be able to source significant levels of new business, develop strong client relationships, manage a strong forward pipeline and deliver the highly professional service for which Blis is renowned.
Key responsibilities
• Leverage existing and new relationships to build your own pipeline of opportunity across the Blis product set
• Target media agencies and their clients, including agency planners, strategists, and programmatic teams - Independent Media Agencies
• Convert pipeline and acquire new customers and accounts to achieve business targets
• Create and lead sales presentations for your agencies and clients and for the team
• Become an expert on Blis USP’s and best practices on the Blis platform, and offer insights to clients on how to improve their strategies and campaigns
• Develop and implement quarterly business plans with weekly forecasting/pipeline management
• Create market leading solutions and presentations for your clients
• Build and maintain strong relationships and deliver exceptional customer service
• Have an active role and input in team strategy and company sales meetings and initiatives
• Work with Marketing & the Insights team to implement an entertainment and outreach plan for your agencies
• Mentor and support junior members of the office
Skills and Experience
• Strong background in digital media sales and account management 5+years
• Demonstrate sales cycle from prospecting new business, presenting opportunities and managing pipeline
• Expert knowledge of digital media market, advertising, programmatic media and product & data offerings
• Experience in working across an OMNI channel offering that is inclusive of pDOOH, CTV, Digital Audio and Digital
• Experience in working with the IMAA (Independent Media Agencies Australia) and leveraging contacts within this industry to drive growth opportunities.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the needs and requirements of media strategists, planners and buyers (online & offline)
• Currently leveraging digital & omni channel budgets from media agencies
• Existing relationships within the independent media agencies
• The confidence to present to your audience, small & large
• A proven ability to close deals and achieve targets.
• Commitment to being a team player in a dynamic environment
